MARCH & EASTER

We started the month off with a trip up to Portland. As usual Ryan worked and Melinda and Georgianna got to play! We visited with Great Grammy and lunched with her and Aunt Deme. As you can see, Georgie loves her Great Grammy!

Georgianna is enjoying trying new foods. By far the funnest has been blueberries! They sure are messy and stain bad... too bad we had to find that out the hard way.

She is also a really good assistant. We put together her pink little push/sit car and she helped assemble it.

Ryan took his one of his agents fishing on the North Umpqua River and caught this 12 pound Steelhead. They had a very successful and fun day of landing nine Steelhead!

Mommy and Daddy got to have a date night! We went to a fabulous French cafe... so nice to be treated and not serving/ cooking the dinner!

We have been working on our backyard - building a 3' fence around our patios, laying bark dust and creating a large vegetable garden. We completed two out of the three. The veggie garden is still in the works.

The dogs lend a hand to Ryan with the bark dust.

Georgie preferred raking out the bark dust than playing in the exersaucer. Which is surprising since she loves that exersaucer! She did a really great and finished the job all the way.

Done for the day. Bark dust looks fresh and cleaned up the yard nicely.
Ryan finished his fence that he designed himself.

Terrific job Ry! Next weekend we'll put up the canopy on the patio and lay out the rugs and cushions.

Georgie loves to read. We checked this book out from the library. She's so serious at the moment. Winding down for bed time.

These are two of Georgianna's friends: Lydia and Grant. They get together and play once a week.
Great Grammy got this little Easter Bunny for her. Perfect size for Miss G, it entertained her for a long while. Check out her hair too! Silly Miss!

Saturday evening before Easter we went to Papa and Meemaw Robertson's for an Easter egg dyeing and pizza party. Georgie liked hanging out with her cousins Ayla and Raya and Auntie Brittany.

I'd like to take credit for dyeing all those eggs, but we didn't just our dozen we brought. Graycie helped and she made some beautiful designs.

Easter was held at our house. Ryan's mother, and siblings came. As well as Melinda's dad and step-mom. We had a very fun filled house.

The kids got anxious to find the eggs. Ready, set.... go!

Daddy helped Georgianna find some eggs.
She loved her Easter basket - thanks Great Uncle John & Auntie Sandy!

We played "put an egg on a wooden spoon and race your partner to the finish line" game!
Here Aunt Brittany races Grayce and Raya.

Lance takes on Steven...

Ryan was determined to beat his sis...

Kelly beats out Melinda once she dropped her egg... and lost her shoe! Was a very silly game, but had lots of laughs!

We had a delectable dinner. Everyone brought a dish and let us just say, we have great cooks in the family!

Mmmm... dessert time! Red Velvet Cake, Citrus Poppyseed Cake and Bunny Cupcakes.

Brittany couldn't resist taking the plunge.

Georgianna applauds her very first Easter celebration...

... but is tired from the special day.

We hope you had as blessed an Easter as we did. We are so thankful that we know our souls are saved and where our future lies. Thank you Jesus for giving us new life.
God Bless!
