Well folks, it's been a long time! Hard to believe the last post was from Christmas!
Time just flies anymore...
JANUARY
We started the New Year off at home and Ryan surprising us girls with a clean shaved baby face.
He's so handsome... but took a little while to wonder who this person was that kept coming around!
We celebrated Ryan's 36th birthday on January 6th. We had a simple celebration, but of coarse there was cake! Devil's food chocolate trout cake.
(That's trout shape, not flavor! Ryan isn't THAT obsessed with fish... ha ha)
Georgianna (6 months) and Melinda joined Ryan for a Portland work trip, and while he worked, the girls visited with Grandma Alice, Aunt Deme and Uncle Junior at their house in Sandy, OR.
(Four generations!!!)
We helped our dear friend Elizabeth celebrate her 30th birthday bash!
Good food, great company & fabulous YummyKake!
Mid January Georgie attempted the doorway jumper... and LOVED it! She is a little jumpin' bean.
Georgianna loves going for walks outdoors (even when it's cold outside)... and sucking her thumb!
And playing in her exersaucer...
FEBRUARY
Happy (first) Valentine's Day!
Georgie (7 months) started swim lessons at America's Best Kids. She joins her buddies Grant (9 months, pictured) and Jake (2 years).
She is a natural! Can't get enough kickin' time in the pool.
Sherri, (Melinda's mom) came up for a visit late February. She got to go to swim class with Georgianna and witness the fun firsthand.
"Hello, Grammy? are you there?"
Mimi is feeding G breakfast, but not sure who has the upper hand here...
We took our Saturday hike at Denman Reserve. The dogs run around freely chasing the birds and squirrels... luckily no skunks around that day...
Birthday dinner for Mimi, casual elegance at Chez Melinda's!
Georgianna will turn 8 months old on March 3rd. She is sitting up by herself and starting to venture her reach out further. Mommy takes Georgie to Babies in the Library program on Mondays (she gets so excited to "read" and loves singing "Itsy Bitsy Spider" & "Patty Cake"). Tuesdays we attend a ladies bible study, and twice a month on Fridays we go to MOPS group at our church. We have found a new home church- First Nazarene of Medford, and have been overwhelmed by the welcoming body, love and activities/studies they offer. Ryan has been very busy with work- kicking off a couple new programs. In his "spare" time he's recently been building a small fence/ gate around our backyard patio and we will turn it into an indoor/outdoor area. We are also starting the layout of our vegetable garden and look forward to breaking ground!

You guys have been busy this year already :) What fun!
